Melissa Hinds
Director, Manchester and Edinburgh

Melissa started her career in TV, working primarily with the BBC and independent production companies. She moved to Biss Lancaster in 1999 and headed a number of projects for the Design Council and the Electoral Commission as well as several large corporations, including Guardian Media Group.

Over the years, she has managed and developed strategies for large FMCG and retail accounts including PZ Cussons, Allied Bakeries, La Tasca, Staples, Whitbread, Bass Leisure Retail, Premier Inn and Little Chef. Building strong measurable communications platforms and developing hard working partnerships are key strengths.

Melissa currently heads up the company’s Manchester and Edinburgh offices with Managing Director, Brian Beech. She manages and provides strategic counselling for PZ Cussons, Debenhams and Corus, as well as several major shopping centres around the UK, including Manchester Arndale.

She is a member of the CIPR, PRCA and a regular guest presenter on BBC Radio Manchester.
